Seamless Home Addition in Marion, IA

This 14×12 addition to a Marion, Iowa home was designed with one goal in mind: make it look like it was always there. We carefully matched the existing windows, trim, and flooring to create a seamless transition between the original dining area and the new space. Flooded with natural light through new large windows and charming gable end windows, the addition also incorporates a repurposed 5-foot window from the original home. The previous window opening was transformed into a French door, offering both connection and privacy when desired. A mini-split unit keeps the space comfortable year-round, making it a true extension of the home in every sense.
